Texas Education Agency AskTED
Public and charter campus identity, district, address, grade span, and enrollment may come from TEA’s AskTED directory. A nearby campus is not necessarily your assigned school. Directory data does not confirm attendance boundaries, eligibility, admissions, transportation, openings, or quality.
Texas HHS school-age care records
A program appears under School-age care only when its Texas HHS record explicitly lists school-age, before-school, or after-school care. Licensing records do not confirm which schools a provider serves, pickup transportation, current schedule fit, openings, or quality.
Texas HHS licensing catalog
Public program identity, address, operation number, capacity, ages, hours, and license-issued date may come from Texas Health and Human Services records. A catalog listing is not a BrightSift endorsement and does not prove current compliance, quality, availability, or fit.
Official inspection and enforcement records
For covered Texas child-care operations, BrightSift can import dated HHS inspection, investigation, evaluated-standard, non-compliance, correction, and available enforcement fields. Program profiles preserve the official terminology and source date rather than creating a safety score. Some enforcement detail may appear only in the interactive HHS record; zero imported actions is not an official all-clear. A family review marker is not a favorable result.
TEA accountability and attendance evidence
Elementary profiles link to TEA School Report Cards, TXschools.gov, and attendance/admissions guidance. BrightSift records only that your family reviewed a source; it does not copy a rating into a recommendation or infer attendance assignment from distance.
Reviewed map coordinates
Map points come from exact address matches in the U.S. Census geocoder, the U.S. Department of Transportation National Address Database, or a Texas state-agency school-point layer joined by TEA campus ID. Secondary matches must agree on launch city, ZIP, address identity, and market bounds. Unmatched or ambiguous records remain off the map; coordinates do not prove attendance assignment, transportation, availability, or quality.
Google enrichment
Google Places may provide a contact or identity-reviewed photo. That enrichment is not evidence of licensing, safety, quality, availability, price, or accommodations.
Your family's private research
Costs, waitlist notes, contacts, tour observations, applications, and decisions entered by a family remain private to that family. They are clearly separated from public catalog facts and are not published as provider claims.
Private-school coverage
BrightSift has a reproducible importer for the periodic NCES Private School Universe Survey, but no private rows are published until an official public-use snapshot is ingested and reviewed. The survey is response-based and can lag closures or grade changes. Families can still add a private school as unverified family research.
Freshness and corrections
Unknown information stays Unknown. Confirm availability, price, classroom placement, and support needs directly. Dates identify when a record was updated; they are not live-provider guarantees.
